Restored and Called:
Embracing Healing, Freedom, and the Kingdom Work of Motherhood

Motherhood is one of the most profound callings in God’s Kingdom. As Christian mothers, we are entrusted with the eternal souls of our children, and the work we do to shape their hearts and minds for Christ is nothing short of Kingdom-building. When moms pour biblical truth, love, and grace into their children, they are planting seeds of faith that can flourish for generations. This sacred responsibility is a high calling, and it requires mothers to be equipped spiritually, emotionally, and mentally to guide their families with wisdom and strength.

However, the demands of motherhood can be overwhelming, and too often, moms neglect their own spiritual health in the process of nurturing others. To disciple their children effectively, moms need to be built up in their own faith. They must prioritize spiritual growth by diving into God’s Word, spending time in prayer, and surrounding themselves with godly encouragement. This personal connection with Christ enables moms to model a vibrant, Spirit-filled life that inspires their children to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

In addition to spiritual growth, moms must address emotional wounds and past struggles that may hinder their ability to minister to their families fully. Healing and freedom in Christ are essential for breaking cycles of fear, anxiety, and insecurity, allowing mothers to lead their children with confidence and clarity. By renewing their minds through Scripture and embracing their identity in Christ, moms can experience the peace and joy necessary to fulfill their God-given calling.

Christian motherhood is not just about raising children; it’s about equipping the next generation to advance God’s Kingdom. By nurturing faith-filled homes, mothers prepare their children to stand firm in a world that desperately needs the light of Christ. When moms embrace this divine purpose, they reflect God’s love and His transformative power, becoming vessels for His glory in their families and beyond.

This is why Ministry for Mama exists: to equip, encourage, and support moms in their Kingdom work. By investing in their own faith and freedom, mothers can raise up children who walk confidently in the ways of the Lord, creating a ripple effect that impacts generations to come.

About Rachel Jerry

Hey there, I'm Rachel!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, I'm so glad you're here.

I have lived in the northwoods of Wisconsin for most of my life. Ever since I was a young girl, I knew I what I wanted most in this world was to be a mother. My heart for children bloomed when I began working at a daycare center in high school.

My husband Chris is the associate pastor of our church and we have four beautiful children that I homeschool. Now living my heart's desire as a mom and with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and children's ministry, I am passionate about providing helpful tools in these two main areas: raising disciples and renewing the mind

A big part of my testimony is being set free from negative and destructive thinking patterns and strongholds in my mind. The more the Lord sets me free, and the enemy loses his grip on me, the more effective I am able to be in our home and for my children. The same is possible for you!

In my personal time I enjoy having quiet time to recharge, digging into the truth (discerning beyond the narratives of this world, some may call it a "conspiracy theorist"), and also dancing for the Lord.

My aim to is always remain a student of God's word (John 8:31-32) and of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).
